1. Japan's Valiant Blooms resemble the large supervisors of Asian rugby. They've even beaten South Africa In the World Cup! They generally well in the Asia Rugby Title.
2. Hong Kong's team is cool as well. They're continuously contending energetically to fit the bill for the World Cup in the Rugby World Cup Asian qualifiers.
3. South Korea has a rugby team that is getting better constantly. They're similar to the underdogs everybody celebrates in Asian rugby competitions.
4. Did you know there's rugby in China? Yep, they're trying to grow the sport there and have a national team. It's part of Asian rugby development efforts.
5. Sri Lanka is crazy about cricket, but they also have a rugby team that's not too shabby. They're one of the emerging rugby nations in Asia.
6. Malaysia's rugby squad is working hard to climb up the rankings in Asia. Go Malaysia! They've been improving thanks to Asian rugby academies.
7. The Philippines has a team called the Volcanoes. How awesome is that name? They're pretty good at Rugby sevens in Asia.
8. Singapore might be small, but their rugby team packs a punch in Asian Games rugby competition.
9. Thailand's rugby team is like the new kid on the block, but they're improving fast. They're getting support from Asian rugby federations.
10. Kazakhstan isn't a country you'd think of for rugby, but they've got a team competing in Asian tournaments. Some of their players have even played in the Pacific Nations Cup!
It's astonishing to see rugby fill Asia like a major tree with branches spreading all over it. Asian groups are getting more grounded and showing everybody what they can do. Perhaps one day, we'll try and see an Asian group winning the World Cup - now that sounds totally extraordinary!
